There are various types of fraud, scams, and pitches and more innovative ways are found almost daily. Check out the list of the most common fraud types along with their description below and more information can be found in the "Little Black Book of Scams".

Please note that this description does not include all scam methods and does not guarantee your protection. Yet, it's useful to know the most common scams and fraud types organized nowadays.

Telemarketing Scams

The fraudsters usually reach the victim by phone asking for personal information in a very convincing manner. They provide false, misleading and deceptive information.

Online Scams

It's a deceptive and false practice when the fraudsters are trying to find new victims via the Internet.

Email and Text Message Scams

Any misleading or deceptive act for personal gain or damage of another individual carried out through email or text message.

Identity Theft
